About the University of Warwick

Founded in 1965, the University of Warwick is a world-leading research-intensive institution, ranked 67th globally and 10th in the UK (QS World University Rankings 2024). With 92% of research rated world-leading or internationally excellent (REF 2021), Warwick fosters innovation, excellence, and inclusivity across disciplines.

About the Department and Lab

Youโ€™ll join the Straube Lab at the Centre for Mechanochemical Cell Biology, part of the Warwick Medical Schoolโ€™s Biomedical Sciences Division. The labโ€™s research focuses on how intracellular transport is coordinated and microtubule arrays are organized to support cell polarity. Using in vitro reconstitution, single-molecule force measurements, and live-cell imaging, the team investigates how motor proteins shape cellular organization.
