Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability for testing as per standard criteria.
- Perform advanced laboratory testing following departmental SOPs.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and quality control checks.
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting of test results for patient care.
- Maintain safety standards and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Requirements for Clinical Laboratory Technologist Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related Biological sciences.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience or a degree in MLS.
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work 4×10-hour weekday shifts (9 PM–7 AM) with rotating weekends.
