Research Associate Jobs In USA- Role:
As a Research Associate โ Protein Degradation, you will play a vital role in establishing FL107โs in-house protein production capabilities while supporting cell-culture and molecular biology initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute in-vitro cellular experiments, develop assays for small-molecule drug discovery, and help drive our discovery efforts aimed at modulating protein homeostasis.ย This position is ideal for a motivated and resourceful scientist with a strong foundation in cell biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style biotech environment.
Life Science Jobs- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-vitro cellular and molecular experiments (bacterial transformation, mammalian cell transfection, flow cytometry).
- Support assay development and small-molecule screening.
- Compile, analyze, and present data to multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain lab operations, inventory, and SOP compliance.
- Collaborate on cross-project initiatives and ensure lab safety and functionality.
Qualifications:
- Masterโs degree (0+ years) or Bachelorโs degree (2+ years) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Cell Biology.
- Hands-on experience in cell culture, western blotting, transfection, RT-qPCR, flow cytometry, and related techniques.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Previous industry or drug discovery experience preferred.
