Cargill careers- Role:
The FSQR Internship Program gives students an opportunity to apply classroom learning in a dynamic food manufacturing and safety environment. Youโll work alongside experienced industry professionals to ensure product quality, compliance, and efficiency across multiple business units such as edible oils, protein, starches, and sweeteners.ย During this 12-week paid internship, youโll manage real projects that influence Cargillโs operations โ gaining exposure to programs like HACCP, auditing, food microbiology, and quality systems. Youโll analyze data, ensure process quality, and assist in the improvement of food safety standards.
Food Safety Jobs- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance assessments and product inspections.
- Analyze production data, identify trends, and suggest process improvements.
- Support FSQR initiatives in food safety, HACCP, and auditing processes.
- Operate and maintain laboratory and process instrumentation.
- Work on cross-functional projects related to efficiency, safety, and compliance.
- Present your project outcomes and learnings to leadership teams at the end of the program.
Summer Internship- Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Expected graduation between December 2026 โ Summer 2028.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
- Willingness to relocate for the internship.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Basic knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food microbiology.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Familiarity with quality management and data analysis tools.
