Educational Requirements
- Associateโs or Bachelorโs degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
- 0โ3 years of relevant laboratory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cell culture or egg-based propagation of viruses
- Prior work in a cGMP/GLP environment
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Scientist:
- Conduct testing of blended vaccines and antigen stocks for potency, identity, and extraneous agents.
- Maintain testing schedules, reagent supplies, and proper documentation under cGMP guidelines.
- Perform aseptic laboratory techniques, including egg drilling, candling, and cell line culture.
- Contribute to laboratory investigations (LIR) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and clean lab equipment, instrumentation, and facilities.
- Accurately perform dilutions, titrations, and cell counts using standard laboratory math.
- Support media preparation, equipment monitoring, and other quality operations.
- Participate in team-based goals and maintain compliance with Zoetis Quality Standards.
Skills Required for the Quality Scientist Role:
- The Quality Assurance Jobs require strong understanding of GMP/GLP standards
- Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
