Role Overview
As a Scientist I (Microbiology), you’ll perform and oversee microbiological testing of environmental samples, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze air, water, and soil samples following standard microbiology procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
- Document laboratory activities with precision and organization.
Qualifications for Scientist Jobs
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work in lab settings, stand for long periods, and handle samples using PPE (provided by Pace®).
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Work involves exposure to chemicals, fumes, and odors in a lab environment.
