Educational Requirements for Quality Assurance Technician:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Physical Science or related field
- Additional Preference: Prior experience in the food or beverage industry
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Technician:
- In this QA Role, you have to perform qualitative and quantitative testing of beverages, syrups, and raw materials.
- Analyze syrup, beverage, and water attributes to ensure quality compliance.
- Conduct package quality inspections and isolate non-conforming products.
- Audit equipment such as container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to verify proper operation.
- Receive and test CO₂ and raw materials before production.
- Maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards to prevent contamination.
- Follow company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies.
- Participate in Hazard Mitigation activities and complete all assigned Health & Safety trainings.
Skills Required for the Quality Assurance Technician Role:
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing and quality assurance procedures.
- Ability to read and understand MSDS and operate production equipment.
- Strong analytical and observational skills.
- Prior experience in a high-speed industrial or food production environment preferred.
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and maintaining production standards.
