Educational Requirements for Analytical Biochemist Role:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related scientific fields
- Minimum 2 years of related industry experience required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Key Responsibilities of the Analytical Biochemist:
- In this Biochemistry Job, you have to perform analytical testing on drug substance/product using: HPLC, UPLC, GC, TOC, icIEF, MFI, HIAC, pH, osmolality, FTIR, UV, Karl Fischer, LC/MS, NMR, Compendial testing (color/clarity, VOI, description)
- Execute method qualifications
- Initiate and investigate Trackwise events
- Document results in lab notebooks and reports
- Train new analysts on laboratory techniques

- Strong scientific and analytical skills
- Ability to operate complex laboratory instrumentation
- Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
