Educational Requirements for Analytical Biochemist Role:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry or related scientific fields
  • Minimum 2 years of related industry experience required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Key Responsibilities of the Analytical Biochemist:

  • In this Biochemistry Job, you have to perform analytical testing on drug substance/product using: HPLC, UPLC, GC, TOC, icIEF, MFI, HIAC, pH, osmolality, FTIR, UV, Karl Fischer, LC/MS, NMR, Compendial testing (color/clarity, VOI, description)
  • Execute method qualifications
  • Initiate and investigate Trackwise events
  • Document results in lab notebooks and reports
  • Train new analysts on laboratory techniques

  • Strong scientific and analytical skills
  • Ability to operate complex laboratory instrumentation
