Educational Requirements for the Intern Role:
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum GPA of 2.8
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship) or CPT/OPT
- Currently enrolled full-time in a U.S.-based PhD program
- Rising sophomore, junior, senior, graduate, or doctoral student
- Must enroll full-time after the internship
- Ability to complete a 10โ12 week internship
- Must relocate if required

Key Responsibilities of the Intern Role:
- Design, execute, and manufacture CAR-T cells to evaluate expression and function
- Conduct multi-color flow cytometry for CAR-T cell phenotyping
- Perform T-cell functional assays: cytotoxicity, proliferation, cytokine/chemokine analysis
- Analyze, interpret, and present scientific data
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation showcasing internship work and lead your biology career.
Skills Required for the Intern Role:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Organizational skills and ability to manage timelines
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Direct experience with viral cell engineering
- Strong background in immunology, molecular biology, cellular biology
- Proficient in aseptic cell culture techniques
- Expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry (panel design, data processing)
- Data analysis using FACSDiva, FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, Excel
- Strong experimental design and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic research environments
