About the Role:

The Junior Technologist will work closely with Quality Assurance and Production to ensure procedures are correctly applied using approved specifications, standards, and methods. They will understand all key product characteristics, monitor semi-finished and finished goods, and adjust processes when needed. They will also perform qualitative and quantitative tests to assess physical or chemical properties, with the goal of improving product quality, ensuring preservation, and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Technologist

  • Supervise and safeguard semi-finished and finished product results.

  • Perform qualitative and quantitative tests to assess product properties.

  • Troubleshoot technological difficulties in production.

  • Support training, guidance, and process updates in collaboration with RTO, RDL, and Team Leaders.

  • Collect and analyze data for production line processes.

  • Orchestrate trials of new products and processes, ensuring adherence to specifications.

  • Provide guidance to production personnel on process implementation.

  • Participate in organoleptic testing to ensure product quality and specifications.

  • Support quality and safety standards and interface with R&D for plant trials.

About You

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Food Engineering and Technology.

  • 1โ€“3 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in process technology improvement and organoleptic testing.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, production processes, SOPs, health & safety, and quality standards.

Compensation & Benefits of Food Technology Jobs

  • Salary range: $65,000 โ€“ $87,000 annually (based on experience).
