Educational Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in a scientific field, laboratory-related science, or medical laboratory science (required)
- ASCP or AABB certification within 1 year of hire (required)
- Masterโs degree in a relevant scientific or laboratory-related field (preferred)
Key Responsibilities of the Biologics Production Technologist:
- Support all processes and services the manufacturing facility provides for internal or contracted entities
- Learn and develop skills in cGMP and cGTP manufacturing for cell, gene, and tissue-based therapies
- Perform and report clinical laboratory procedures following Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain compliance with laws, accreditation standards, and quality systems
- Support continuous improvement of laboratory workflows and processes
- Ensure timely, high-quality manufacturing of biologic products
Skills Required for the Biologics Production Technologist Role:
- The Production Technician Jobs require knowledge of laboratory procedures and scientific techniques
