Educational Requirements for Calibration Technician Role:
- Two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- Quality System or Pharmaceutical experience preferred
Key Responsibilities for Calibration Technician Role:
- Perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with accurate GxP documentation
- Follow PCI and client policies during all calibration activities
- Conduct flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations
- Identify and communicate new business opportunities
- Handle and maintain PCI and client-owned equipment
- Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain safety standards and identify potential onsite safety issues
- Complete timesheets and support others with correct coding
Skills Required for Calibration Technician Role:
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, accuracy testing, and uncertainty ratios
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment repairs
- Solid knowledge of GMP and Life Science regulations
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as incubators, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers
- Ability to work independently with strong initiative
