Educational Requirements for Calibration Technician Role:

  • Two-year degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
  • Quality System or Pharmaceutical experience preferred

Key Responsibilities for Calibration Technician Role:

  • Perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventive maintenance with accurate GxP documentation
  • Follow PCI and client policies during all calibration activities
  • Conduct flow, conductivity, pH, mass, and dimensional calibrations
  • Identify and communicate new business opportunities
  • Handle and maintain PCI and client-owned equipment
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain safety standards and identify potential onsite safety issues
  • Complete timesheets and support others with correct coding

Skills Required for Calibration Technician Role:

  • Strong understanding of calibration principles, accuracy testing, and uncertainty ratios
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic equipment repairs
  • Solid knowledge of GMP and Life Science regulations
  • Experience with laboratory equipment such as incubators, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers
  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative
