Educational Requirements for Technologist role:
- BSc or MSc in Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related biology-based courses
- Focus on molecular biology and mammalian cell culture techniques
Key Responsibilities for Technologist role:
- 90–100% lab-based research job focusing on generating plasmids for complex biological molecules
- DNA sequencing processing and assessment
- Culture mammalian cell lines in flasks and small-scale bioreactors
- Conduct analytical procedures such as high-throughput protein quantification
- Prepare media and feeds from basal components
- Write detailed project reports and present findings to the R&D team
- Maintain electronic lab notebooks and contribute to lab maintenance
- Learn and implement lab automation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills Required for Technologist role:
- Knowledge and skills of core molecular biology techniques
- Practical experience in mammalian cell culture in vitro
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn automation
