Key Responsibilities for Microbiologist role:
- Conduct microbiological analyses of raw materials, finished products, and water samples
- Prepare media and reagents for laboratory testing
- Perform analyses using USP, EP, ASTM, AOAC, FDA, EPA, and client-supplied procedures
- Follow aseptic techniques and laboratory SOPs
- Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in LIMS and notebooks
- Perform quality assurance tasks such as lab monitoring, media qualification, and equipment calibration
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory work area
- Stay current with microbiological literature and standards
