Educational Requirements for Scientist role:
Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or an equivalent qualification
Key Responsibilities for Scientist role:
- Plan and execute straightforward scientific experiments
- Analyse and interpret experimental results using standard procedures
- Follow established processes, procedures, and Quality Management Systems
- Identify opportunities for process and workflow improvements
- Comply with international quality standards and GLP requirements
- Maintain laboratory facilities, equipment, and consumables
- Support Laboratory Services as required
Skills Required for Scientist role:
- Experience in a research or development environment
- Knowledge of histology, immunohistochemistry, and/or immunoassay techniques
- Practical understanding of good scientific processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Attention to quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Experience with Leica Biosystems instrumentation (preferred)
- Basic project management knowledge (preferred)
- Understanding of the Danaher Business System (preferred)
