Educational Requirements for the Food Technologist Role:
- Degree in Food Science or a related discipline
- Relevant experience in food product development, research, or innovation
Key Responsibilities of the Food Technologist:
- Develop new food products and enhance existing recipes in line with market trends
- Conduct kitchen and pilot plant trials to support innovation initiatives
- Coordinate plant trials and first production runs for new products
