Overview
Schreiber Foods is seeking ambitious students for a Production Management Internship at its Stephenville, TX, manufacturing facility. This hands-on role provides exposure to operations leadership, process improvement, and food production management.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain exposure to people and leadership, and plant operations
- Support projects focused on quality, productivity, and food safety
- Assist production leadership in meeting daily output goals
- Analyze production lines and manufacturing processes
- Identify and resolve process and efficiency issues
- Communicate customer and food safety requirements to teams
- Support compliance with Food Safety and Quality Plans (PCPs, CCPs, SOPs)
- Assist with audits, corrective actions, and process improvements
- Train hourly partners on process changes and improvements
Qualifications For Food Science Internship
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in:
- Agriculture, Dairy Science, Food Science, Animal Science
- Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, or related field
- Enrolled student during Summer 2026 (Spring 2026 grads not eligible)
- Able to work 40 hours/week for a minimum of 10 weeks
- Willing to relocate to Stephenville, TX (assistance provided if eligible)
- Proven leadership experience and interest in people management
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Reliable transportation required
