Educational Requirements for the Production Associate Role:
- Certificate in Biotechnology or 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related science preferred
- 0–2 years of manufacturing or laboratory experience is acceptable
- Cleanroom and cGMP knowledge preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities of the Production Associate:
- Perform aseptic processing of the living product Apligraf
- Manufacture products according to Master Batch Records and SOPs
- Prepare media and sanitizing agents used in production areas
- Ensure strict adherence to GMP, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Complete and maintain accurate batch records and documentation
- Operate and maintain cleanroom equipment
- Maintain quality control records and comply with established procedures
- Work in Class 100 and Class 10K cleanroom environments
Skills Required for the Production Associate Role:
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and cleanroom protocols
- Basic laboratory and manufacturing skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations (preferred)
- Manual dexterity, coordination, and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong teamwork and reliability in a regulated environment
