Educational Requirements for the Packaging Technologist Role:
- University degree in Food Science, or a related discipline
- Equivalent relevant work experience may be considered
Key Responsibilities of the Packaging Technologist:
- Support and implement New Product Development (NPD) projects at the Ljungsbro factory
- Develop and implement sustainable packaging solutions, including PlantPack
- Improve efficiency and output of packaging lines in collaboration with factory teams
- Harmonize and optimize the existing packaging portfolio
- Guide and implement packaging CAPEX projects
- Set up, maintain, and update packaging specifications
- Coordinate and execute packaging trials and tests
- Work closely with cross-functional and international project teams
- Collaborate with a wide network of international packaging suppliers
- Develop and realize new packaging ideas that support Cloetta’s brand growth
Skills Required for the Packaging Technologist Role:
- Strong knowledge of packaging development and packaging technologies
- Experience in food industry packaging (preferred)
- Understanding of sustainable packaging materials and solutions
- Project coordination and execution skills
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international teams
- Structured, proactive, and results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish (written and verbal)
