Role Overview

The Associate Scientist, QC (3rd Shift) performs chemical and microbiological testing to support quality control operations. This role involves routine laboratory analysis using analytical instrumentation while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities In Scientist Jobs

  • Perform chemical and microbiological testing using HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/VIS, and wet chemistry techniques
  • Conduct an analytical data review to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Execute quantitative analyses of APIs and related materials under established procedures
  • Prepare reagents, standards, and laboratory equipment
  • Perform calculations (concentration, statistics, etc.) and document results accurately
  • Maintain laboratory notebooks, sample logs, and data records
  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces and ensure equipment readiness
  • Report analytical issues to the Group Leader
  • Comply with training requirements, SOPs, safety, environmental, and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience
