Educational Requirements for Internship:
- Currently working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or a related field
- College-level math proficiency
- Strong academic interest in laboratory and microbiology-based work
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist microbiologists in day-to-day microbiology laboratory testing
- Perform biological indicator testing, total plate count, and coliform testing
- Prepare basic microbiological media and poured plates
- Collect environmental monitoring samples from packaging environments
- Conduct water testing and routine laboratory activities
- Operate laboratory equipment such as autoclaves and dishwashers
- Follow PCI Pharma Services, cGMP, and GCP policies and procedures
- Support documentation and technical writing in a GMP laboratory setting
