Educational Requirements for the Biology Internship:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Food Science, Biology, or a related scientific discipline
- Strong academic interest in quality control, food safety, or laboratory testing
Key Responsibilities of the QC Intern:
- Perform routine microbial, chemical, and product sampling
- Support compliance with QA, HACCP, SQF, and SSOP standards
- Collect product samples for laboratory analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure adherence to specifications
- Conduct routine data entry and recordkeeping
- Assist the Quality Control department with additional tasks as needed
Skills Required for the Biology Internship:
- Basic understanding of food safety and quality principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
