Educational Requirements for the Quality Control Jobs:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline
- 0–1 years of relevant laboratory or quality control experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform virology-based QC analytical methods using aseptic techniques in this Quality Control Analyst Role.
- Conduct viral infectivity assays, qPCR, adventitious agent assays, viral titer, and viral stock growth and purification
- Prepare media and maintain multiple cell culture lines
- Support cell-based and plate-based bioassays, including ELISA, dot blot, residual DNA, HCP, and protein-binding assays
- Execute routine GMP QC testing in support of manufacturing operations
- Support method transfers, validations, and laboratory operations
- Accurately document and review analytical data using LIMS software in this Quality Control Analyst Role.
- Identify laboratory deviations, invalid assays, and assist with CAPA activities
- Assist with SOP authoring, review, and laboratory documentation
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and materials
- Troubleshoot routine assays and laboratory equipment issues
Skills Required for the Quality Control Jobs:
- Basic understanding of GMP, GLP, and GDP requirements
- Knowledge of cell culture, virology, and bioassay techniques
- Familiarity with qPCR and viral testing methods
- Ability to accurately document and review data in LIMS
- Strong attention to detail and data integrity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow aseptic techniques and laboratory safety protocols
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a GMP virology or bioassay laboratory
- Prior experience with LIMS software
