Educational Requirements for the Lab Technician Role:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Biology, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a closely related discipline
Key Responsibilities:
- In this Lab Technician Role, you have to perform cell culture activities, including cell thawing, splitting, and routine maintenance.
- Prepare media, buffers, and laboratory solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance of laboratory equipment, devices, and cell culture plates.
- At Novocure Careers, you have to operate and support laboratory systems and instrumentation.
- Execute bio-assays, including Bio-compatibility testing, and Mycoplasma detection
- Support researchers in ongoing tissue culture experiments.
- Document laboratory activities and write work procedures in compliance with GLP standards.
- Manage workload across two tissue culture laboratories, adapting to changing priorities.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Biology Lab Manager based on evolving project needs.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Hands-on experience in sterile tissue culture environments.
- Familiarity with standard biological laboratory techniques is the skill required for the Lab Technician Role.
- Strong technical and practical laboratory skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
- High level of English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle dynamic workloads.
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced R&D environments.
