About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Technologist, you will support product quality and food safety by conducting laboratory testing, verifying production records, and ensuring timely product release to customers. This role plays a critical part in maintaining Kerry’s quality systems and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine Quality Assurance activities in line with Quality Policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Conduct finished product testing
- Perform ATP swabs, allergen swabs, hygiene inspections, and EMP swabbing
- Carry out CCP verification checks
- Input QA data into SAP for positive product release
- Isolate and manage non-conforming stock as required
- Raise non-conformance reports for out-of-specification products
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across site departments
- Assist with shelf-life testing and monitoring of raw materials and intermediates
- Manage retention samples
- Participate in internal audits and routine GMP/bucket walks under the direction of the Quality Systems Manager
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and equipment
- Perform daily calibration of laboratory equipment prior to testing
Qualifications & Skills for Quality Assurance Jobs
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science or a related field, or relevant laboratory/industry experience
- 1–2 years experience in a food laboratory environment (graduates with relevant internship experience encouraged to apply)
- Experience with Windows-based systems; SAP experience desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow quality procedures
- Ability to work rotating shifts as required
