Educational Requirements for the Laboratory Operator:

  • Degree in Food Science or a related scientific field
  • Candidates currently completing their studies or holding a diploma are also encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • In the Food Science Jobs at Nestlé, you have to collaborate with logistics teams regarding incoming Raw & Pack Materials
  • Conduct sampling, analysis, and reporting of results for raw and packaging materials
  • Release Raw & Pack Materials in line with quality standards in the Laboratory Operator Role.
  • Provide training to casual and production operators on sampling and analytical procedures
  • Assist in investigations of out-of-specification results
  • In this Laboratory Operator role, you should manage non-conforming raw and packaging materials, including communication with suppliers.
  • Prepare and conduct sensory panels
  • Provide relief support in other laboratory areas, including chemistry-related tasks
  • Participate in laboratory continuous improvement initiatives

Skills Required for the Laboratory Operator Role:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Good computer proficiency; experience with SAP is highly valued
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail with consistent delivery of accurate results
  • Interest in working in a laboratory and factory environment
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and shift requirements
