Job Details:

  • Position: Clinical Applications Specialist I (CAS I)
  • Location: Morrisville, North Carolina
  • Department: Business Support
  • Travel: 15% (Domestic 10%, International 5%)
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Salary: $72,100 – $84,600 plus performance-based bonus
  • On-call duties to provide 24-hour technical support

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological science with 2+ years in Clinical Microbiology or Molecular Biology
  • OR AAS degree in a biological science with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Preferred: Medical device industry experience, customer-facing roles, or LIS/LIMS knowledge

Key Responsibilities of Clinical Applications Specialist Role:

  • Provide technical support, product training, and consultation for diagnostic test systems
  • Manage customer complaints and escalate complex issues appropriately
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction
  • Support product implementation and enhancements with additional training
  • Maintain ERP certification and comply with company quality procedures

Skills Required for Clinical Applications Specialist Role:

  • Strong understanding of microbiology and clinical applications
