The Role
The company is looking for a Junior Food Category Intern to join the Category Management Team, one of the most central and strategic functions in the company.
Working closely with the team, you will gain hands-on experience in:
- Managing the marketing mix and purchasing levers
- Product assortment planning
- Pricing and promotional strategies
- Product positioning across different categories
All while working towards clearly defined objectives and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
You will support the team in the following activities:
- Market analysis and monitoring of direct and indirect competitors (large-scale retail, online platforms, specialized markets)
- Category management for selected product families
- Updating price lists and product data sheets
- Supporting the management of private label assortments
- Scouting new products and suppliers to build a competitive assortment
- Monitoring cross-category KPIs and economic performance
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science & Technology, Agriculture, or a related Master’s degree
- Strong ability to work towards objectives
- High energy and a positive, proactive attitude
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent command of Excel and solid numerical/economic analysis skills
- Strong interest in digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and food retail
