Educational Requirements for the Microbiology Analyst Role:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology, Food Science, or equivalent
- Tertiary qualification with a major in Microbiology
- Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Microbiology Analyst, you should lead microbiology and pathogen test scheduling and execution
- Perform food and environmental microbiological testing
- Ensure accurate, traceable, and timely test results in the Microbiology Jobs at Danone.
- Adhere to ISO 17025, MPI RLP, and corporate standards
- Lead microbiological method verification and validation in the Microbiology Jobs.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and complete CAPA activities
- Perform environmental and facility swabbing
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory
Skills Required for the Microbiology Analyst Role:
- Strong expertise in microbiological and dairy testing
- Experience in method validation and verification
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 laboratory standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and strong IT proficiency
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Prior auditing experience (preferred)
