Educational Requirements for the Laboratory Analyst Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline
Key Responsibilities:
- In the Biology Jobs at Procter & Gamble, you should perform raw material, intermediate, finished goods, and development sample analysis
- Conduct testing for WIP/Bulk materials, stability studies, and protocol-based experiments
- Execute analytical and microbiological testing using approved QC methods in the Laboratory Analyst Role.
- Perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration
- Troubleshoot instruments and diagnose analytical issues
- As a Laboratory Analyst, you should identify and report abnormal results to supervisors
- Support analytical method development under supervision
- Assist with laboratory activities, including SOP creation and revision, and training support. and ownership of less complex instruments
- Work with analytical instruments such as HPLC, FTIR, GC, CompuTrac, and others
Skills Required for the Laboratory Analyst Role:
- Strong foundation in analytical chemistry or microbiology
- Experience working in a GMP-compliant QC environment (preferred)
- Ability to troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analytical results
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts based on business needs
- Ability to learn and operate advanced laboratory technologies
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
