Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry.
- 2–5 years’ experience in product development or NPD within a multinational FMCG environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities of Product Development Technologist Role:
- Translate product briefs into consumer-ready products that meet sensory, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing standards.
- Deliver product development and improvement projects according to briefs and timelines.
- Design, execute, and report on bench, pilot, and factory trials, including shelf life and nutritional testing.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, including specifications, trial reports, and SAP data.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Commercial teams, and external manufacturers.
- Provide technical input for artwork, ingredients, claims, nutritional panels, and usage instructions.
Skills Required for Product Development Technologist Role:
- Strong experience in liquid grocery and emulsion-based product categories (e.g., sauces, dressings, mayonnaise).
