Educational Requirements:

B.S. in Biological Science or related discipline

Key Responsibilities of the Microbiologist Role:

  • Perform microbiological and chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and final products.
  • Conduct Bioburden, Microbials, Bacterial Endotoxin Testing, Microbial Identifications, TOC/Conductivity, Sterility Testing, Growth Promotion, and Biological Indicator Enumeration.
  • Perform instrument calibration and preventive maintenance.
  • Assist in inventory, ordering, and work order generation.
  • Follow SOPs and cGMP guidelines in all job functions.
  • Participate in meetings and support management as required.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledge of microbiological testing (desired)
  • Detail-oriented with good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
  • Basic math skills for dilutions, fractions, decimals, and percentages
  • Flexibility and ability to handle multiple priorities
