Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma with 0+ years of experience OR
- Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field
- Biotech certificate preferred
- Full awareness of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and critical manufacturing operations in Cell Culture, Purification, and Solution & Equipment Prep in the Life Science Jobs at Takeda
- Operate production equipment according to SOPs
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic process-related issues and escalate deviations
- Support production activities and implement routine tasks
- As a Manufacturing Associate, you should prepare Batch Records, Log Books, and Forms
- Enter data into LIMS, MODA, or other business systems
- Review GMP documentation
- Perform sample preparation and testing
- Identify documentation changes
- Participate in continuous improvement (CI) plans
- Initiate work orders
- Assemble and disassemble process equipment in this Manufacturing Associate Job Role.
- Perform equipment cleaning and standardization
- Support changeover activities
- Assist with equipment and process qualifications and validation
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in following written instructions (Batch Records, SOPs, Technician Protocols)
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements
- Proficient computer skills
- Proficiency in aseptic technique
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes
- Ability to work in controlled and regulated environments
- Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
- Ability to work multiple shifts, weekends, or holidays as required
