- Working Hours: Monday–Thursday: 11:45 – 20:00 and Friday: 11:30 – 20:00
- Training Schedule (First 2 Weeks): Monday–Friday: 10:00 – 18:15

Educational Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline
- Equivalent experience gained in a Microbiology Laboratory Technician role
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse customer food samples efficiently and accurately in the Laboratory Technician Role
- Become competent in laboratory practices and analytical methods
- Follow all relevant SOPs and laboratory test procedures
- Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 quality standards
- Complete documentation accurately and on time
- Monitor and record weights and temperatures per company procedures
- In this Microbiology Job at Eurofins Careers, you should maintain laboratory stock (pipettes, autoclave bags, etc)
- Clean laboratory equipment (fridges, incubators, water baths, etc.)
- Ensure sanitiser bottles and control labels are correctly maintained
- Check that no expired reagents or media are present in the lab
- File the customer sample documentation properly in this Microbiology Job
- Keep training records updated and initiate further training when appropriate
- Adhere to safety, housekeeping, and quality standards
- As a Laboratory Technician, you should participate in the weekend rota and provide cover for colleagues
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
