Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields
- Ability to read and write in English (fluent spoken English preferred)
- Understanding of China regulations with a strong willingness to learn overseas regulations
- Knowledge of food safety systems such as BRC, FSSC22000, ISO22000, SQMS, SQF preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, approve, and check compliance for finished products according to multiple country regulations and customer requirements in this Food Science Job
- Support Research & Development during product development to ensure compliance before commercialization
- At Griffith Foods, you should issue technical documents including ingredient statements, product labelling, allergen & GMO declarations, nutrition data sheets, and customer forms
- Cooperate with relevant departments to review and update technical product information before production
- Submit product data to customers to ensure safety and full regulatory compliance
- Support export and domestic regulatory documentation requirements in the Regulatory Officer Role
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager or the BU Lead
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of China’s food regulations
- Understanding of international legislation such as the EU, the US, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and CODEX (preferred)
- Basic experience in regulatory compliance, formula evaluation, or label approval
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Good communication skills in English
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving global regulations
- Attention to detail and ability to manage regulatory documentation accurately
