Educational Requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Microbiology or equivalent science discipline
- Minimum of 12 months experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably aseptic processing)
- Working knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry and sterile processing
- Strong background in Aseptic processing and/or Microbiology
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine microbiology laboratory activities in the Laboratory Technician Job in Ireland
- Environmental monitoring of cleanrooms
- Microbial analysis of site utilities
- Testing of raw materials, commercial, clinical, and development batches
- Manage microbial analysis of AbbVie products included in the Global Stability program
- Perform release and stability testing, including Environmental Monitoring, Water Sampling, Bioburden Testing, Endotoxin Testing, Growth Promotion, In-process Testing, Sterility Testing, APET, and Antibiotic Assay at AbbVie Careers
- Maintain Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems Data Integrity requirements
- Draft and review SOPs, protocols, training modules, investigations, reports, CAPAs, and deviations
- Trend results and perform investigations into adverse or out-of-limit results
- Validate equipment and microbiology test methods in this Laboratory Technician Job
- Adhere to and support all EHS & E standards, procedures, and policies
- Report writing
Skills Required:
- Strong microbiology laboratory skills
- Experience in aseptic processing and sterile manufacturing
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality and regulatory requirements
- Strong documentation and data integrity awareness
