Lactalis Canada is hiring a Food Processing Technician Intern for its Rakely Plant in Toronto, ON. This is a 1-year student opportunity. This Food Science Internship at Lactalis Canada offers hands-on R&D experience in pilot plant operations, new product development, and food processing innovation. Educational Requirements for this Internship:
- Currently pursuing post-secondary education in Food Science, Food Processing, or a related field
- Strong technical and hands-on aptitude
- Ability to perform manual lifting and manual processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate pilot plant equipment for new product development and renovation projects in the Food Science Internship at Lactalis Canada
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Health & Safety Guidelines
- Work closely with Research staff to set up, operate, and evaluate experiments
- Record observations and request clarification when required in this Food Science Internship in Canada
- Maintain and clean pilot plant equipment to meet quality and food safety standards
- Identify sanitary maintenance requirements and equipment repairs
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures for equipment installations
- Provide technical and analytical support to the R&D product development team in this Internship in Canada
- Ensure Quality is fundamental in the execution of all work activities
