Scientist Job Overview
Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Entry Level In Vivo Scientist to support its growing team in South Brunswick Township, New Jersey. The scientist will be responsible for conducting in vivo studies in accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures, while maintaining strict compliance with good laboratory practices and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and conduct experiments in accordance with protocols and SOPs
- Carry out study procedures efficiently with minimal supervision
- Prepare test solutions and diets as directed
- Perform dosing, evaluate responses, conduct necropsies, and complete related procedures
- Collect blood, urine, fecal, and tissue specimens in accordance with established procedures
- Maintain detailed and accurate experimental records in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Assist in report writing
- Follow all PSL safety requirements
- Safely wear a respirator as required
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, or a related field
- (Two years of directly related industry experience may be considered equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major.)
