Educational Requirements for this Internship:
Pursuing or completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field such as Biology, Dairy Science (preferred), or Food Science (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- In this Food Science Internship, you should assist sensory scientists in designing and executing R&D sensory evaluations (discrimination, descriptive, hedonic/consumer tests).
- Coordinate panel scheduling, sample preparation, and sensory session setup in this Food Science Internship in the USA.
- Recruit, train, and calibrate sensory panelists for descriptive analysis.
- Analyze sensory data using statistical methods such as T-Test, ANOVA, PCA, cluster analysis, and preference mapping at Lactalis.
- Present sensory findings to R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
- Visit stores to obtain commercially available dairy products for evaluation in this Paid Internship.
