Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, approve, and check compliance of finished food products according to regulations in multiple countries and customer requirements in this Food Science Job at Griffith Foods.
- Support the Research & Development team to ensure regulatory compliance throughout product development, from concept to commercialization.
- Prepare and issue technical documents for customers, including ingredient statements, product labeling, allergen and GMO declarations, and nutrition data sheets in this Food Science Job in China.
- Provide documentation for domestic products, export products, and products intended for further export.
- Work with internal teams to review and update product technical information in accordance with change management policies.
- Submit technical data to customers to ensure products meet regulatory standards and customer specifications as a Regulatory Officer.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager or Business Unit Lead.
Educational Requirements for this Job:
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Food Science
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Or a related scientific discipline
Skills Required:
- Ability to read and write in English, with fluency in spoken English preferred.
- Understanding of China’s food regulations and willingness to learn international regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of food safety management systems such as BRC, FSSC22000, ISO22000, SQMS, or SQF (preferred).
- Basic experience in regulatory compliance, formula evaluation, and label approval.
- Familiarity with international food legislation such as the EU, US, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and CODEX regulations (preferred).
- Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
