Key Responsibilities:
- Perform chromosome analysis, including imaging and karyotyping, as a Cytogenetics Technologist
- Analyze chromosomal abnormalities and morphology
- Prepare and organize karyotype reports for interpretation
- Enter and manage analysis data in laboratory systems
- Verify patient data and ensure report accuracy in this Remote Biological Science Job at LabCorp Careers
- Conduct quality checks before final review
- Transfer and manage electronic cytogenetic data remotely
- Maintain laboratory and computer equipment

Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cytogenetics clinical laboratory
- Experience in karyotyping and cytogenetics analysis
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of cytogenetics and chromosome analysis
- Experience with karyotyping and metaphase imaging
- Familiarity with cytogenetics software (ASI preferred)
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, internet tools)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
