Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize qPCR assays for gene expression, genotyping, and pathogen detection as a Bioinformatics Scientist
- Analyze genomic and sequence data for assay development
- Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines and workflow automation
- Optimize computational workflows for scalability and efficiency in this Bioinformatics Job at Thermo Fisher Careers
- Manage databases, repositories, and reproducibility standards

Educational Requirements for this Job:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields

Skills Required:

- Expertise in qPCR, dPCR, and assay development
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools (IGV, BLAST, BWA, GenBank, Ensembl)
- Advanced Python programming skills
- Knowledge of workflow tools like Nextflow or Snakemake (preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud computing and high-performance computing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
