Key Responsibilities
Molecular & Genomic Integration
- Combine molecular/genetic data with histopathology to understand disease biology
- Support genomic characterization of tissues using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and companion diagnostics
- Work with external vendors for NGS-based diagnostic development
Research & Clinical Support
- Identify molecular drivers and dependencies in diseases
- Support patient selection strategies using:
- Histopathology (IHC/IF)
- Genomic sequencing (NGS)
- Contribute to immuno-oncology research by linking protein expression with patient tissue data
Advanced Data & Imaging Analysis
- Integrate histology/image analysis with spatial transcriptomics datasets
- Generate insights into:
- Disease mechanisms
- Drug mechanisms of action
- Support reverse translational research using clinical biopsy samples
Sample & Study Management
- Source and manage patient tissue samples with relevant genomic and clinical context
- Support pre- and post-treatment clinical trial analyses
Qualifications for Scientist Job
Basic Qualifications
- PhD (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology or Genetics (focus on computational genomics preferred)
- Experience with:
- Molecular biology lab techniques (e.g., cell line generation, NGS library prep)
- Computational analysis (Python or R)
- Machine learning algorithms
