The Position
The intern will gain exposure to the dynamic work environment at Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, a location surrounded by mountains, near Lake Zug, and close to the cities of Zug, Zurich, and Lucerne. With over 50 years of presence at this site, Roche develops and produces diagnostic solutions to address critical health questions.

The Opportunity
The selected candidate will take on the following responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the PCQT for the cobas® x800 family, aligning efforts to maintain the quality of on-market products.
- Drive effective collaboration through fact-based prioritization and resolution of issues affecting customer satisfaction, product quality, safety, and serviceability.
- Manage on-market issues within the product portfolio, ensuring high field performance of cobas® x800 family systems, which played a critical role during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Contribute as a standing member of assigned International Business Team(s) (IBTs).
- This cross-functional role requires acting as a key communicator between Local Cross-Functional Teams (LCTs) and IBTs, including system and software development teams, while collaborating closely with operations teams in consumables and reagents.
Candidate Profile (Who You Are)
The ideal candidate is expected to meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed (within the last 12 months) a Master’s degree, preferably in diagnostics, life sciences, or project management.
- Demonstrates strong interest in integrating business with diagnostic and medical perspectives to drive market leadership and impact patient outcomes.
- Possesses strong analytical and communication skills.
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Proven ability to work as a team player in a complex matrix environment while also being capable of working independently.
- Shows reliability, willingness to learn, self-reflection, ownership, and responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Preferably has initial experience in product or project management.
