Job Description

This research associate job at Bio-Techne focuses on supporting Luminex Operations, which manufactures made-to-order multiplexing assays used in disease research, drug discovery, and clinical studies. As an Advanced Research Associate, you will ensure efficient manufacturing processes, high-quality output, and timely product delivery. Qualifications

Skills and Requirements

  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges, and computers
  • Ability to handle repetitive and complex tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate microparticle and biotin cocktails for Luminex multiplex assays following established SOPs
  • Perform qualification of assay components, including microparticles and biotin stocks
  • Troubleshoot non-conforming Luminex assays with increasing complexity
  • Draft change plans and non-conformance reports
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with new equipment onboarding
  • Manage data in batch records, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Assist in SOP and document revisions
  • Follow company safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
