Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will specialize in Flow Cytometry, a sophisticated laser-based technology used to analyze the physical and chemical characteristics of particles (usually cells) as they flow in a fluid stream.
- Analytical Procedures: Perform and document laboratory tests in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines like GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).
- Data Analysis: Conduct routine analysis to ensure results fall within acceptable tolerances and specifications.
- Quality Control: Identify performance errors or unusual results and escalate them to senior personnel. You will also assist in quality investigations and resolution of deviations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform and document the calibration and maintenance of high-end flow cytometers and automated systems.
- LIMS Integration: Prepare data analysis results for upload to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Mentorship: Guide entry-level staff and support the onboarding of new team members as you prove your competency.
