Job Description
This laboratory analyst job involves performing analysis of non-culturable surface and air samples for fungi. The analyst prepares and analyzes environmental samples according to scientific methodology, ensuring compliance with company Quality Assurance programs and SOPs.
The role includes validating and reviewing data for accuracy and uploading laboratory data into LIMS to generate client reports. The analyst also schedules sample workloads based on deadlines and operates laboratory testing equipment using discretion and judgment.
Qualifications
This Laboratory Analyst Job requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biology, or a closely related science (Required)
- 1–2 years of laboratory experience in mold or asbestos microscopy analysis (Preferred)
- Microbiology coursework (Preferred)
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction
- Professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Key Responsibilities
