Job Description
The successful candidate will support research operations and project management for new and ongoing studies. This research officer job involves handling clinical research tasks, coordinating study activities, and ensuring smooth execution of projects within A*STAR IHDP.
Qualifications
This Research Officer job requires:
- Degree in Life Sciences, Dietetics or other healthcare disciplines
- Trained in performing venepuncture and cannulation (preferred)
- Meticulous, possess good interpersonal and organisation skills
- Able to work independently, as well as a team player
Key Responsibilities
This Research Officer job role responsibilities include:
- Assist with study recruitment, answer general enquiries on study and checking study eligibility
- Assist with obtaining informed consent in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Responsible conduct of research (RCR) guidelines and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA)
- Scheduling of clinic visits
- Perform study measurements, data and biological sample collection accordingly to SOPs
- Manage research study databases, including data queries
- Ensure accuracy & completeness of data collection
- Support project management
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
