Job Description

The following are the responsibilities and skillsets needed for this scientist job:

  • Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy is a must-have skill
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills will be necessary to interface with multiple clients at the same time
  • Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectroscopy
  • Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
  • Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS)
  • Static Light Scattering (SLS)
  • Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
  • Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) Spectroscopy
  • Infrared (IR) spectroscopy
  • Buffer Preparation
  • Adhering to Good Documentation Practices

Qualifications

This Scientist Job role requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science concentration (biology, or related fields) and 2-4 years of directly related industry experience or a MS/PhD degree in a life science concentration (biology, or related fields) and up to 2 years of directly related industry experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity
