Job Description
Springer Nature is seeking a talented and self-motivated individual to join the biology editorial team as an Associate or Senior Editor in Applied Genomics and Technology. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about science but looking to move beyond traditional lab-based work into impactful Biological Science Jobs within scientific publishing.
The Biological Science Job position involves handling and developing content in areas such as genome engineering, synthetic biology, omics-based diagnostics, cancer genomics, and related technologies. The role spans technical advancements, translational research, and clinical applications of genome technologies.
Qualifications
- PhD (or equivalent) in biological sciences, medical sciences, or related fields
- Preferably postdoctoral research experience
- Strong research background in genomics technology and applications
- Expertise in areas such as cancer genomics, synthetic biology, diagnostics, or therapeutics
- Ability to evaluate scientific research for novelty and impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English fluency required)
